Our organic calcium is made from red algae, grown in the coastal waters of the Atlantic, which is not affected by shipping, industry, or the like.

According to the rules regulating organic certification, ecological aquaculture must be placed far away from energy producers or urban regions. Likewise, harvest by hand is also a requirement. No extraction is necessary when making Phytholistic® Calcium, because red algae have a natural calcium content of at least 28%.
